Dr. Gagne formed Vascular Care Connecticut in 2021. Previously, Dr. Gagne had been a member of New York University’s Vascular Associates and New York University’s Hospitals Center, where he served as Director of the Vascular Research Laboratory. Prior to that, Dr. Gagne served in the U.S. Navy as both a general and vascular surgeon. Dr. Gagne specializes in vascular and endovascular techniques for the treatment of arterial and venous disease and is the principal investigator of a number of multi-center clinical trials.

On March 26, 2013, Dr. Gagne became the first surgeon in the State of Connecticut to implant a drug-eluting stent to reopen a blocked artery in the thigh of a person with peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Dr. Gagne’s particular areas of expertise include the endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, treatment of carotid disease and venous disease including varicose veins, acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT), chronic deep vein disease (post DVT), venous ulcers, and lower extremity peripheral artery disease. He is on the Board of Directors for the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society, a section editor of the journal, Vascular Disease Management, a Distinguished Fellow of the Society of Vascular Surgery and a member of the American Venous Forum.

Naiem Nassiri, MD, FSVS, RPVI is a board-certified vascular surgeon, and an outgoing, meticulous, and innovative physician with broad clinical and academic interests.

Naiem graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, and was one of the first 6 individuals in the country to complete an integrated residency in vascular & endovascular surgery graduating from the Lenox Hill Heart & Vascular Institute of New York, Lenox Hill Hospital in 2013.

Before joining The Vascular Care Group, Dr. Nassiri served as Associate Professor of Surgery (Vascular) at the Yale School of Medicine, where he remains a voluntary, adjunct faculty; Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, VA Connecticut Healthcare System in West Haven, CT; Director of the Vascular Malformations Program, at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT; and an integral member of the world-renowned Aortic Institute at Yale, where he performed the first physician-assembled, branched, endovascular thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm repair at Yale New Haven Hospital in October 2021. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery; serves as a Special Government Employee for the United States Food & Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health; and is a Key Opinion Leader, Medical Advisory Board Member, and Proctor for numerous industry partners in the aortic and peripheral space.

He was, previously, the Founding Director of the Vascular Anomalies & Malformations Program and, Co-founder and Co-director, Pelvic Vascular Disease Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Throughout his career, he has had a broad range of experience in clinical research in vascular surgery where he has served primarily as a principal investigator. Dr. Nassiri holds a provisional international patent for “Compositions and Methods for Treating Slow-Flow Vascular Malformations” and has founded two companies related to vascular disease, with an emphasis and expertise in targeted intralesional drug delivery. He is currently the global principal investigator for the first-ever use of therapeutic ultrasound technology for non-invasive ablation of vascular malformations. As such, Naiem is a much sought-after speaker with podium presentations at international, national, regional, and local meetings, as well as numerous peer-reviewed journal publications, books, book chapters and educational materials.

As a provider, Dr. Nassiri has a special interest in the comprehensive diagnosis and multi-faceted management of vascular anomalies and malformations, including those in the pediatric population, as well as minimally invasive treatment of complex aortic pathologies, cervical carotid disease, pelvic venous disorders, and peripheral arterial disease. He is experienced and comfortable with open, endovascular, hybrid, and medical management for vascular patients, and enjoys working in and leading multi-disciplinary settings. He treats peripheral arterial, aortic, carotid, venous (superficial and deep) disease, provides and maintains dialysis access, and treats other pathologies that encompass the field of vascular & endovascular surgery, including those requiring advanced embolotherapeutic maneuvers.

Brandon H. Kusako is a board-certified physician assistant who has earned numerous medical certifications and accolades, has presented and published, and has spent time in emergency medicine, surgery, trauma, and critical care.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Emmanuel College and then his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern University. After that, he completed his Post Graduate Surgical Physician Assistant Residency at Yale University School of Medicine/Norwalk Hospital. While in school he was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa: The National Leadership Honor Society and the Beta Beta Beta: National Biological Honors Society.

His certifications beyond his physician assistant licenses include Advanced Trauma Life Support, the Fundamentals of Critical Care Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider, and Medication Administration Training.

Brandon has an impressive leadership track record. He has served on the Surgical Quality Improvement Committee at Norwalk Hospital, was the Co-Chair for the Program for Research Assistant Development and Achievement (PRADA) at Boston Children’s Hospital, and was the Vice President of Emergency Medical Services at Emmanuel College. He has also contributed to the Norwalk Hospital Surgical Grand Rounds and the Journal of Human Genetics and has presented at both the FaceBase Consortium Annual Meeting and the Muddy River Research Symposium.

Prior to joining The Vascular Group, Brandon worked at Norwalk Hospital as a Surgical Physician Assistant and earned the inaugural Excellence in Mentorship Award. Before that, he worked as a Clinical Research Study Coordinator at Boston Children’s Hospital and as an Emergency Medical Technician, NREMT-B at American Medical Response.

Nathan J. Aranson is a third-generation physician and native of Maine who currently resides in Portland. He is a dual board-certified general surgeon and vascular surgeon who is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition, he is nationally known as a respected educator and lecturer with extensive credited publications.

In 2001, Nathan graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University with his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry while completing his Pre-Med requirements. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2006 from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency in Los Angeles at LAC + USC Medical Center with two additional years devoted to vascular surgical research as part of an NIH Funded T-32 Program at Harvard Medical School. He then completed his fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital. During his training he earned numerous resident teaching and education awards.

Prior to coming on board with The Vascular Care Group, he served as a Staff Surgeon in Vascular Surgery for Virginia Mason Medical Center, and most recently, for over five years at Maine Medical Center. While at Maine Medical Center he was the busiest clinical surgeon and performed the first minimally invasive arteriovenous fistula creation for dialysis access and the first insertion of a thoracic branch endograft in the State of Maine. Throughout his time, he has always sought to push the envelope, be an early adopter of technology, and improve the quality of care provided to patients in the region.

Outside of his primary surgical roles, he was the Medical Director of the Non-Invasive Vascular Labs throughout Maine Health and served as the Medical Director of the Maine Medical Center Vein Clinic. Throughout his career, he has been a member of several professional societies such as the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Vascular Surgery where he has been honored as a Fellow of both.

In his free time, he enjoys anything that blesses him with the many seasonal outdoor pursuits of Maine. In the winter you will find him downhill skiing while in the summer he finds time to fly-fish for native trout and spin cast in Casco Bay for stripers.

Elizabeth Blazick is a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive clinical experience in all areas of vascular surgery, as well as significant experience in research and medical education.

Beth earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Biology and Chemistry from Springfield College, followed by her graduate level Certificate of Completion in Physician Assistant Studies from Springfield College/Baystate Health Systems. She worked as a physician assistant in a busy trauma center in Tampa, Florida while later simultaneously completing her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of South Florida. As a medical student, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha academic honor society as well as the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society. She was awarded the Tampa General Hospital Scholarship, the Bailey Family Foundation Medical Student Scholarship, the Watson Clinic Award for outstanding research and received the Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons’ Ambrose Pare Award as one of the top medical students in the state pursing a surgical career.

She completed both her General Surgery Residency and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Before joining The Vascular Care Group, she was an attending vascular surgeon at Maine Medical Center, where she also served as the Program Director for the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency. She was appointed the rank of Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. There, she actively participated in both clinical and industry research, including several large multicenter trials.

She is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), the New England Society for Vascular Surgery (NESVS), the Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS), and is an American College of Surgeons (ACS) Fellow. She was recently awarded the Society for Vascular Surgery’s Leadership Development Award. She continues to serve as a reviewer for several vascular surgery publications.

Outside of her work in the field of vascular surgery, Beth serves as a board member for Hope on a String, a nonprofit to fund a community center in Haiti. She lives with her family in South Portland, where in her free time she enjoys working with the local pug rescue organization and traveling to destinations a bit off the beaten path.

Christopher T. Healey is a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive clinical experience in all areas of vascular surgery, as well as significant experience in research and medical education.

Christopher graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He then continued his medical education in Providence at Warren Albert School of Medicine at Brown University.

Dr. Healey’s graduate medical education continued at the University of Vermont where he completed his General Surgery Residency. While at UVM he was awarded the College of Medicine’s Resident Excellence in teaching award, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical honor society, and awarded the Norman Snow award for excellence in Cardiothoracic Surgery. While at UVM his research centered on the pathophysiology of venous ulcers. He completed his post graduate training with his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center.

Christopher began his Vascular Surgical career in 2007 in Portland, ME. He has served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to having a busy clinical practice his research activities included being local principal investigator on multiple clinical trials. The trials he lead looked at using stem cells to treat critical limb ischemia and the development of a novel endovascular aneurysm sealing device.

In the realm of surgical education Dr. Healey served as assistant program director for the General surgery residency at Maine Medical Center and then went on to become the first program director for the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency.

Just prior to joining The Vascular Care Group team, Christopher served as the Medical Director at Maine Medical Center’s Wound Healing and Hyperbarics.

He is a current fellow of the American College of Surgery, as well as a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the New England Society of Vascular Surgery, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and the Wound Healing Society.

In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family and labradoodles. He is an avid fan of New England Sports teams: Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and Friars Basketball and Hockey.

Amber Schaub is an NCCPA-certified physician assistant who began practicing in 2009 who has experience in both vascular surgery and interventional cardiology.

Sebastian DiDato, MD, FACS, RPVI, MPH is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 15 years of experience. Sebastian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida before receiving his Masters in Public Health from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester before beginning his fellowship in vascular surgery at Boston Medical Center. Sebastian has treated patients across New England, having worked at Concord Hospital and, most recently, Reliant Medical Group in Worcester. He is an active member of many professional organizations, including: American College of Surgeons, New England Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Vascular Surgery, and Massachusetts Medical Society. Over the course of his career, Sebastian has authored multiple research publications and participated in conferences and competitions across the country. Lori received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Salem State University, and recently completed her master of science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Simmons University in Boston. Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Lori worked for Emerson Hospital Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine where she gained extensive experience in advanced wound care modalities including advanced wound care dressings as well as the management of complex patients including coordination of care. Her wide range of professional experience also includes pre- and post-surgical care, rehabilitation, pediatric, adult and geriatric care, home care, and pharmaceutical medicine. Kristin Cabot, MSN, FNP-C is a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst School of Nursing.  She later completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Kristin completed additional coursework in Wound Management.

With a passion for providing high-quality care to her patients, Kristin has worked in various healthcare environments throughout her career including in the inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.  Kristin will be a familiar face to many, as she has been working at The Vascular Care Group’s Leominster office for the past seven and a half years as a clinical nurse.  In this role, she gained valuable experience providing comprehensive vascular care to individuals in the Leominster office. 

As a nurse practitioner, Kristin is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in healthcare and is excited about her new role in a familiar environment.  She is also active in the community, supporting several hospital-sponsored fundraising runs and walks. With her extensive education, training, and experience, Kristin provides compassionate and patient-centered care to all those she serves and much-needed support to the other clinicians in Leominster.

He continued to hone his skills as a surgeon, serving as the hospital’s Chief Resident of General Surgery and as a clinical and research fellow in the divisions of Angioscopy and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Kwolek has since worked at hospitals across the country, including the Arizona Heart Institute, Chandler Medical Center at the University of Kentucky, Lexington VA Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He has also served as the assistant and associate professor at University of Kentucky School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School, the latter of which is a position he still holds today. Dr. Kwolek has served on various committees at the medical institutions at which he has worked over the course of his career, and has been an active member in industry organizations. Additionally, Dr. Kwolek currently holds leadership positions, including the Aortic Intervention Consultant and National Principal Investigator for Leopard Trial for Endologix. R. Todd Lancaster is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 15 years of surgical experience. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. During his tenure there, he held multiple leadership roles and was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Hector Simosa is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with substantial training in vascular care. Williams Jr., MD Medical Student Teaching Award in Surgery at Boston University Medical School and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Simosa covers the full spectrum of vascular care, treating aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, deep vein thrombosis and venous disorders, renal mesenteric vascular disease, peripheral artery disease as well as managing lower extremity circulation issues and wounds in diabetic patients. He performs minimally invasive catheter procedures and open surgical reconstruction for patients. Dr. Simosa has been practicing vascular surgery since 2006. Bobbi Coode has been working as an autonomous board-certified nurse practitioner since 2010. Beyond that, Bobbi has earned certifications for both Emergency Medical Technician-Basic and Paramedicine levels. She also has advanced training in intubation, suturing, placement and removal of arterial lines, placement and removal of central venous lines, tracheostomy changing and decannulation, removal of epicardial and transvenous pacing wires, removal of intraaortic balloon pumps, removal of chest tubes, management of lumbar drains, and cardiac stress testing. Daniel R. Gorin is Board-certified in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Gorin attended medical school and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut, then went on to a fellowship in vascular surgery at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Gorin specializes in vascular surgery and is well-versed in all aspects of vascular care. He is focused on minimally invasive techniques, and performs state-of-the-art endovascular treatments, such as balloon angioplasty and stenting for blocked arteries. Dr. Gorin has a strong clinical interest in outpatient, office-based vascular care. He opened one of the first outpatient endovascular care centers in Massachusetts and has performed thousands of officed-based vascular procedures. A true expert in office-based lab intervention, he was a charter member of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society (OEIS) and has taken an active role in society leadership. He has spoken and been published extensively on the topic of office-based vascular care. Dr. Gorin also devotes a significant part of his practice to the treatment of venous disease, with a particular focus on minimally invasive, office-based vein procedures. He performed the first VNUS Closure/Venefit procedure in Massachusetts, (a procedure to treat varicose veins using a catheter under ultrasound guidance) and has personally performed thousands of minimally invasive venous procedures. Alfred J. Phillips DPM, FACFAS is a Board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Phillips received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University before receiving his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University. He completed a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at HCA Doctors Hospital/Northlake Regional Medical Center in Atlanta, G.A. Stratton G. Danes, MD is a Board-certified vascular surgeon.  He is experienced in both open and endovascular procedures, and practices the full range of vascular surgery, including limb salvage, aortic aneurysm repair, venous disease and varicose veins, carotid interventions, and dialysis access. He has almost 18 years’ experience as an attending in vascular surgery. Dr. Danes attended medical school at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse where he graduated AOA.  He went on to do a residency in General Surgery Residency at New York University Medical Center. He subsequently competed a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Hartford Hospital and the University of Connecticut. After a short stay in the Midwest, Dr Danes came back to the Northeast.  He practiced at Mary Imogene Basset Hospital in Cooperstown NY, where he directed the surgical clerkship and served on the faculty of Albany Medical College and Columbia University Medical School, receiving the resident’s teaching award.  He then practiced at Catholic Medical Center in NH. Christopher J. Kwolek is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 30 years of surgical experience. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles before pursuing his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Kwolek completed his internship in general surgery at the New England Deaconess Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, before completing his residency there as well. He continued to hone his skills as a surgeon, serving as the hospital’s Chief Resident of General Surgery and as a clinical and research fellow in the divisions of Angioscopy and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Kwolek has since worked at hospitals across the country, including the Arizona Heart Institute, Chandler Medical Center at the University of Kentucky, Lexington VA Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He has also served as the assistant and associate professor at University of Kentucky School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School, the latter of which is a position he still holds today. Dr. Kwolek has served on various committees at the medical institutions at which he has worked over the course of his career, and has been an active member in industry organizations. Additionally, Dr. Kwolek currently holds leadership positions, including the Aortic Intervention Consultant and National Principal Investigator for Leopard Trial for Endologix. He has also been a member of advisory boards for PQ Bypass, Vortex Medical, Bolton Medical, Cariomems, Boston Scientific Corporation, Guidant Corporation, Medtronic, Edward Lifesciences, and Leapfrog Group.

R. Todd Lancaster is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 15 years of surgical experience. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Lancaster completed his General Surgery training, as well as a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. After completing his training, Dr. Lancaster joined the faculty of Massachusetts General Hospital and provided vascular and endovascular care at Massachusetts General Hospital, and affiliated hospitals in New England including Newton Wellesley Hospital, and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. During his tenure there, he held multiple leadership roles and was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lancaster continues to serve in leadership roles at Newton Wellesley Hospital including the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Director of Quality and Safety for Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Center, Co-Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory, and Associate Director of the Elfers Cardiovascular Center. In addition to working as an ad hoc reviewer for medical publications, Dr. Lancaster is a member of many professional societies and serves on various committees in the medical field. Dr. Lancaster’s research interests include studying clinical outcomes and safety, and his clinical interests include all aspects of arterial and venous disease, with a particular focus on peripheral arterial disease, aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, superficial venous disease, central venous compression syndromes, as well as renal and mesenteric arterial disease.

Debbie Poché is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has worked with adult, senior, and pediatric patients. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Curry College.  She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Simmons College. While there she was chosen for the Student Spotlight by Simmons professors to represent Nursing at Simmons and was a part of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.

She is a strong communicator who is highly motivated and self-directed. She also has a history of providing thorough physical assessments, using critical thinking and clinical judgment, performing incision and drainage wound care, and doing both suturing and minor surgeries.

Debbie has been building her skills for almost three decades. Most recently, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for Sturdy Memorial Associates of Plainville. Before that, she worked as an Urgent Care Provider at Care Central Urgent Care and as a Nurse Practitioner of Vascular Surgery at Steward Medical Group.

Her approach to healthcare is simple: treat patients in a holistic manner that embraces their body, mind, and spirit.

Debbie is certified in neurotoxins and has also been a fitness instructor for 30 years. As such, she is passionate on all levels when it comes to teaching patients how to make a difference in their health and wellness and achieving successful outcomes.

Edward J. Arous is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive endovascular and open surgical experience. Born and raised in Worcester, MA, he received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and his master’s in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Dr. Arous was an Assistant Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Director of the Limb Preservation Center. He completed his residency in the vascular surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Arous has received multiple honors and awards throughout his career, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, the Darling Award for Best Scientific Paper from the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, and the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Medical Education from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

Elias Arous, MD, FACS is a Board-certified general and vascular surgeon with over 37 years of experience. He specializes in the care and surgical management of carotid artery disease, aneurysmal disease, peripheral arterial disease, and AV fistula. Dr. Arous also focuses on many other vascular related diseases, including endovascular and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Arous completed his surgical residency and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is recognized as an exceptional vascular leader. Dr. Arous held many academic appointments, including Professor of Surgery at University of Massachusetts Medical School, Chief of Surgery at Memorial Hospital, and previous Chief of Surgery at Saint Vincent Hospital. He has considerable medical periodicals and publications in peer review journals and has received multiple awards and honors, including the Teacher of the Year award for four consecutive years from the University of Massachusetts Surgical Residency Program, and recipient of the American Heart Association Heart of Gold Award for his work and contributions to the American Heart Association. Hector Simosa is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with substantial training in vascular care. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela and furthered his medical training by completing a General Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Virginia Commonwealth University and Boston Medical Center, Boston University. Dr. Simosa completed his vascular surgery training at Harvard Medical School Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Vascular Surgery Fellowship. He also completed a Vascular Surgery Research Fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School. During his career, he has compiled various peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national meetings. He was honored with the Lester F. Williams Jr., MD Medical Student Teaching Award in Surgery at Boston University Medical School and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Simosa covers the full spectrum of vascular care, treating aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, deep vein thrombosis and venous disorders, renal mesenteric vascular disease, peripheral artery disease as well as managing lower extremity circulation issues and wounds in diabetic patients. He performs minimally invasive catheter procedures and open surgical reconstruction for patients. Dr. Simosa has been practicing vascular surgery since 2006. He is certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery and in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). He is also fluent in Spanish.

Ginny Crosse is a board-certified nurse practitioner with extensive nursing experience. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Anna Maria College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University. She later completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University.

With a passion for providing high-quality care to her patients, Ginny has worked in various healthcare settings throughout her career. Immediately prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, she served as a Family Nurse Practitioner for Harrington Physician Services in a family Primary Care practice. In this role, she gained extensive experience in providing comprehensive primary care to individuals of all ages.

As a nurse practitioner, Ginny is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare and regularly attends continuing education courses and conferences. She is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. With her extensive education, training, and experience, Ginny is dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care to all those she serves.

Mallory Gibbons, MSN, NP is a Board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in nursing from Rivier University and a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing from the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She has worked as a nurse in the ER and ICU stepdown unit. Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Mallory worked as a vascular and endovascular surgery Nurse Practitioner at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA. During her time at UMass, she developed and spearheaded Diabetic Foot screening clinics for the homeless and underserved population of Central Massachusetts, which involved a multidisciplinary approach of various other specialties from UMass. She and her colleagues were awarded a Remillard grant to continue diabetic foot care & health clinics for Worcester’s homeless. With an interest in arterial and venous disease, Mallory also provides cosmetic sclerotherapy treatments and has a passion for preventive Health and Wellness. She is affiliated with many industry organizations and honors, including the American Nurses Association, Society of Vascular Nursing, American Vein and Lymphatic Society, and Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, among others.
